Bright flash of blue light
Siren wails into the night

Sigh…the things that blue light symbolizes…a surprisingly poignant poem.
Thank you! I know not every blue light and siren ends with a lost life, but I never like hearing/seeing them. If banshees were real, this is the closest sound we might find to their wail.
